Green Candidate Uses Bike As Campaign Headquarters

Story from The BrandonSun Online:
Green Party of Manitoba candidate James Beddome hopes to turn pedal power into political power as he cycles his way along the campaign trail in the rural constituency of Minnedosa.

"This is the campaign headquarters right here", he said yesterday as he showed off his bicycle and attached trailer, which carries the tent he plans to live out of for the next 12 days.

Beddome is a long-shot at best to win the seat, but he believes he has a genuine chance against the candidates from the more established political parties.

And if he couldn't I suppose that would make him less of an candidate, right? 'Cause democracy has less to do with the ability of anyone having the right to run for office, and more to do with allowing only the candidates who are financially well off (cough cough capitalist pigs cough cough) the chance to win.
